Top 5 Social Networking Sites According to Alexa

As of today, below is a list of the top social networking and media sites. Why should you care? Well, this will be a good indicator of which sites you should be on in order to gain exposure for your product or service.

And Now, For Alexa’s Top 5 Most Visited Social Sites:

1. YouTube – YouTube Has a traffic rank of 3 (3rd most visited website according to Alexa)

2. Facebook – Facebook has a traffic rank of 4

3. MySpace – MySpace has a traffic rank of 11

4. Twitter – Twitter has a traffic rank of 26 (Had a rank of 1970 just over a year ago!)

5. Flickr – Flickr, a photo sharing website, has a traffic rank of 31

Now, take this information above and go visit each site. Add yourself an account if you haven’t already. Type in your business description, find some of your clients and friends to add to your network, and watch it grow.

I personally pick 3-4 top sites to be a part of and focus on growing those. I don’t have much extra time to do more than that.
