A Single Serve Coffee Success
By: Amber Ludwig, Internet Marketing Coach
So something you should know about me, I am a HUGE coffee fan. I wasn’t always, actually. I can remember my dad and sister going out for coffee and me wondering why on Earth they liked the taste. But, somewhere around 7 years ago everything changed. Now, I can’t skip a single day without drinking my latte.
But check this out, there’s a company out there that can be found at www.SingleBrew.com that made me look at coffee in a totally new way – but a good way!
Have you ever heard of Single Serve Coffee? I sure hadn’t. I always thought Starbucks was the best way to go when you wanted a single cup of coffee. But my bank account hated that option – $1,300+ per year for crying out loud! Well, it turns out that “single serve” coffee, and what SingleBrew.com sells, is fresh-ground gourmet coffee – but in a tea style bag.
The owner of SingleBrew.com is a man named Randy Schoonover and is local to Denver, CO. Lucky me! Apparently, Randy was backpacking in the Colorado Mountains with some friends, making coffee in a pot over a fire, when a rock shifted and dumped the coffee into the fire and food. Been there, done that. I used to backpack with my mom quite often growing up and her hiking buddies would experience that very thing.
Before you know it, an idea was born and a company was started. Now Singlebrew.com is celebrating 20 years of success! But let’s talk about the coffee for a sec…
Yes, it’s fresh ground. Yes, it’s gourmet coffee. Yes, it’s in a tea style bag. But what else? Well, I read Randy’s whole website and here’s a few other things to note:
- These “packets” stay fresh for a YEAR!
- Flavors: 100% Colombian, Colombian Decaf, French Vanilla (yum), Swiss Mocha Almond, Vanilla Nut, Chocolate Raspberry, Almond Amaretto, Irish Cream, Cinnamon Nut Swirl – is your mouth watering like mine is?
- All you need is a microwave or boiling water. No machines required (saving you money – this is a good economic alternative folks).
- Some of the possible uses: Camping, boating, dorm rooms, gift baskets, traveling in RVs, and even in the office.
- Basically comes in one month and three month packages – or you can buy bulk cartons (both for consumer and wholesale/retail)
Why am I going on and on? Well, I think this is a really cool idea! Randy is a HereNextYear client and I was just poking my head in one day and was genuinely interested. I wanted to know more.

Or just check out SingleBrew.com yourself. I say it’s totally worth it!
