For those of you awesome readers that follow me on Facebook and Twitter, you probably noticed I was invited last week to be interviewed by two amazing gentlemen. Mark Crowley and David Sandusky host a live radio show as part of their company “Your Brand Radio” that is helping millions of entrepreneurs online. I was honored! What’s really great about Your Brand Radio is the theme behind its well-known program: Your business is not unique, but you are! With a couple million followers, Your Brand Radio invites some of the most talented experts on the show to provide never-ending value to its loyal listeners. The live show was held at Espressole Caffe in the Denver Tech Center which is a great coffee shop that can’t be beat. Accompanying Mark, David and me was a fabulous professional photographer, Neil McKenzie. I noticed throughout the show he was really seeing my interaction with the hosts from every possible angle. I couldn’t have been more impressed. If you need a photographer or a professional photo shoot done, call Neil! I just have to give props when people deserve it! Mark and David from Your Brand Radio were perfect hosts! I have known Mark [...]

Tony Robbins is one of my all-time heroes and mentors. I attended an event of his five years ago this month. Back then, I was searching for answers about why I was the person I was, and clues as to who I was going to be in the future. Back then I was just a kid starting out on a journey. At Tony’s event I had many realizations about my past and future – how I wanted to show up in this world. This jump started my book to release next year titled “Rescuing Me: A Teen’s Journey From Lost to Found” and made my life’s purpose clear. I make every effort to improve and thrive, then help others along the way. Today I was searching for a video I could share with you, from Tony Robbins, to give you a taste of his power of influence. Sure, it will provide motivation. But more importantly, his 5 keys can serve as a goal that you can hit. I like to take tips and ideas from others, really listen, then analyze to see what parts I want to integrate into my life and which parts I’ll discard. Tony tends to transfer [...]

I see it happening everywhere. Entrepreneurs know what they need to do, they get inspired, but when it comes to taking that action… they freeze. This got me inspired to write a blog post in hopes of spreading awareness, then offering some solutions to get you back on your feet again. I have been one of the lucky few that wasn’t dramatically affected by the swift change in the economy (don’t throw eggs at me!). I haven’t missed any mortgage payments, my work is steady and my ambition is strong as ever. Let this be the best news you’ve heard all day so far. Why? Because maybe I can help you see a new perspective – one that loosens up your stiffness and gets you on the track you know you want to sprinting on. So what did the economy really do? It injected high doses of FEAR into our bloodstream. We fear we will lose our house, our job, our spouse, our children, our health, our cars, our things, our sanity. Watching the news enhances this fear: “record job loss”, “the stock market took another plunge”, “disease”, “foreclosures at an all-time high”. No wonder so many people feel paralyzed [...]

I am very excited to announce today the release of my 2nd website: AmberELudwig.com Ever since I began working at Vector Marketing, as a sales rep and manger for Cutco Cutlery, I have had this intense passion for helping and impacting people. My teenage years were spent with me feeling lonely, negative and searching for who I wanted to be. Vector was my first step to moving past those events which happened in high school. I was motivated and encouraged. I became addicted to helping others achieve the same strides I had made in my own life. After I move past my position at Vector, and started seeing what else was out there for me, my opportunities to impact people felt less frequent. Especially young people. In Vector, I primarily managed kids right our of high school or just starting college. The age when you’re wondering what the hell you’re supposed to do in life and who you should be. It was perfect. With InsightfulDevelopment.com I was able to impact people in a business sense – but I still had this tugging of the soul that I needed to do more – I could do more. So, I started developing [...]

March will be a very interesting month I have a feeling. After just getting over a cold, I have a renewed motivation to kick ass! It’s in the air…do you feel it? The success wheel is turning and starting to speed up. Just this morning I got an email from a client: Hi Amber: I thought you’d like to know that someone bought the tomato growing guide today–my first e-book sale! How cool is that?? Thanks again for all your help! So what’s on the agenda for March? Plenty! I have some adjustments to my website that will be happening over the next couple of weeks. I always tend to get that itch to redesign a little every quarter. I have a new header being designed, I have a home page slideshow being created, and I’m ready to start a products page on my site now. InsightfulDevelopment.com has been the best side-project! I’ve so enjoyed seeing comments role in here and there, getting you interested enough to sign up to stay connected on my right sidebar, sharing my teachings with you…I want to continue to provide you with little tidbits here and there to help you grow right along side [...]

Last night I watched as incredible men and women athletes skated down a mountain wall of ice or boarded up one. World athlete leader after another, I began to find the common denominators. They all felt overwhelmed with guilt and disappointment when they lost, they all showed a combo look of fear and confidence before they started, and they all…gave it their all. I was sitting on the floor looking up at the TV thinking, “Man that’s impressive. I can’t even image the feeling, knowing you are the best in the world at what you do.” Then my thoughts took a different direction… “There are extremely impressive, hardworking men and women entrepreneurs or employees all over the place!” You all come up with ideas, dreams and visions – each Olympic athlete started with a dream. You go out and find the funding, hire the best and fight the good fight – each Olympic athlete finds a coach, has a steady training and health regimen, they too fight the good fight. You, like some of the top Olympic athletes in the world, face your business with fierce confidence (even if you have to fake it from time to time). You too [...]

“It ‘aint about how hard you’re hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward – how much you can take, and keep moving forward!” When I heard this, it was as if stars aligned and it all suddenly made so much sense. I’ve heard similar phrases and words, but this particular set sunk in deep down. Anthony Robbins taught me that at the most random time, you can hear something that will Awaken the Giant Within. For those of you who don’t know, I wrote a book about my life – What the Heart Wants: A Teen’s Journey From Lost to Found. To be released this fall, I wrote about how I went from this negative, depressed teen (for very good reason) to overcoming and most importantly, understanding what happened so I could move on and not let the past affect my future. So naturally, when I saw Rocky Balboa last night and heard his speech to his son, I was blown away at the wisdom. We’ve all been hit hard by life – there’s no doubt in my mind. I’ve personally known people that survived their partner committing suicide, the loss of their 8 [...]

“The Grass Blows, The Wind Blows, and People Do What They Do.” My mom told me that phrase when I was a little girl and it stuck with me all these years. Grass, Wind and People are some of the constants in life. You can’t change people. You can only accept them and learn to work or live with them as they are. I’ve had so many experiences – so many chances to learn the above lesson. I had to work with an Assistant Manager, who in training with me so she could open her own branch office, for six months – and the whole time she made it clear she didn’t like me. I ignored it and focused on the task at hand. This made her like me even less. One day I called an early morning meeting with both of my Assistant Managers to discuss the issue openly and honestly. I was professional – not afraid or weak. I asked her straight up what the issue was because it was starting to affect the attitude and atmosphere of the office (with over a hundred people around us). She replied in a cold tone that it was because I [...]

Sharon Ludwig has been a residential home builder and land developer for over 15 years. Although construction was truly a great passion while rearing her two beautiful daughters, Kimberly and Amber, Sharon continually received what she called “downloads” of creative artistic ideas. Although she incorporated many of these expressions in her projects, most were filed under “Creation Folder” on her computer. As Life tends to provide exactly what we need albeit sometimes challenging for purposes of growth, the real estate market fell into its current doom and gloom condition. Consequently, Sharon at long last found herself with time on her hands, thus BySheSaid.com was born. Although the web site is currently under construction, “Gateway” a division of BySheSaid.com is well under way. Beautiful rusted metal gates with subtle touches of stained glass and gentle aspects of Nature such as vines, leaves, and flowers are being created and installed with word traveling rapid fire. Each of Sharon’s creations hold a subtle esoteric message inviting the owner to reflect on the deeper meaning of Life. Other products by Gateway include light sconces, bath accessories and electrical plate covers for the home. When asked about the name “She Said,” Sharon explains her belief [...]
