Marty Dickinson’s 12/8/09 issue of “Tuesday Triplet”:

This morning marks the day our HereNextYear client project manager, Amber Ludwig (My nickname for her is “Bring It ON!”), has launched her first ebook after a year of working with me.

It’s an exciting time for her and there’s about a 1,000 pound pie of pride around here for her accomplishment.

She calls it “Online Evolutions” which is a compilation of blog posts she’s made at her website at InsightfulDevelopment.com.

Check out how Amber has assembled her sales page at http://tinyurl.com/yaugfdd and then read the rest of this email so to consider emulating what she has done for your own business.

With that in mind, here are three unusual tips you can begin to use right now to create a quick product and get others to sell it for you:

1. Use What You Already Have – Amber didn’t have to create this book from scratch. When she learned something new, she added a blog post about it. When she felt inspired to share something she learned in the past, she made a blog post. Over the months, those blog posts add up!

What do YOU have stored on a computer somewhere that’s already produced that your clients or list subscribers might be interested in?

2. Surprise a Connector – We all know someone that connects people; someone with a lot of contacts. When Amber sent the advance version of her book to me I was “surprised” that it wasn’t just another Internet marketing book.

In fact, there are pages about being a better employee, getting a better job, managing projects, just simply wanting to make the world a better place.

Instead of deciding to promote Amber’s book as a simple favor to her, my desire to share this with you was upgraded to my obligation to help her get her message out.

If you want to inspire a connector to promote your product, you must surprise them with the quality of your product to the point that they feel an obligation to help spread your message.

3. Mention Your Connector in the Product – If you’ve never seen your name referenced in a book or heard your name and website in an audio file or on a radio program, you will really feel important when you do!

Amber mentioned my name and HereNextYear several times throughout her book. So, what does that make me want to do? I want everyone to see my name in her book of course!

When it comes time for you to produce a product, consider who your connectors are and mention them in your product. When you give them an advance copy of the product, tell them where you have showcased their name.

This is a sure-fire way to get connectors to be inspired to promote your product.

To summarize, don’t forget to look at what you’ve already produced as your source for a premium quality new product that you can assemble quickly. Promote your connectors in what you produce and you will inspire them to promote your product for you.
