Take Responsibility for Your Energy

“Don’t ever forget, the energy you put out into the world is there forever.” – Brendon Burchard said that and he was right.

I’d like to share an article I just got published with ConsciousDivas.com all about taking responsibility for the energy you put out into the world. I talk about how I wanted to choose a life (both business and personal) that allowed me to always stay present, always care about each individual I met, and always give of myself to anyone that would listen.

An excerpt:

As we grow more successful we have tendencies to focus on growth, making more money and getting more people in the door. We only have so much bandwidth and there is a tipping point here where you focus more on this and less on the things that originally brought you that success such as hard work and staying present. I am not suggesting that to focus on growth and money is bad (it’s necessary), but there is a careful balance that must be paid attention to, or you will lose yourself in the growth. Choose to pay attention, and be responsible for, the energy you bring into the world.

Building Your Brand by Being the Best at What You Do

This is a guest article by Denise Wilson

Discussions on brand building often focus on the tangible pieces: launching a website, defining a brand style guide, developing a pithy tagline, and having coherent talking points across the organization. These all represent important approaches to building your company or personal brand, but it’s often the intangibles that really define the heart of a brand.

Let me explain. Every marketing book or course on the market today discusses the importance of a USP or unique selling proposition. Your USP is what makes you different, how you stand out from the competition. Yet another underexplored but extremely powerful tool in your brand building arsenal is simply being the best at what you do – and making that part of the story that you tell in your marketing. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

How to Build a Movement, Starting with Nothing More than an Idea

This morning I received a VERY touching email from a new client, whose website have recently launched. The client writes:

“It doesn’t seem possible that 8 short weeks ago, I had a product and a passion, but no platform, no presence, and no business plan. It’s because of all of you that I’m poised to move forward in what I know is my true purpose. You are amazing women; I am blessed to have you in my life and appreciate so very much your ongoing professional and personal support. I could not have done this without you—thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me, for lending your tremendous talent and expertise to this project, and above all, for being my friend.”
