Google Personalization on Your Seach Results Plus How to Turn it Off

I don’t know about you, but I’ve already started to see the changes. More and more social networking links are climbing to the tops of search results for all sorts of keywords but more than that, Google’s “personalized search results” are kicking into affect.

“When possible, Google will customize your search results based on location and/or recent search activity. Additionally, when you’re signed in to your Google Account, you may see even more relevant, useful results…” – Google Support

I saw the most interesting post on Facebook last night and it made me wonder how many ways I could come up with that people use Facebook. 3 Unusual Tips for Creating a Quick Product

Marty Dickinson’s 12/8/09 issue of “Tuesday Triplet”:

This morning marks the day our HereNextYear client project manager, Amber Ludwig (My nickname for her is “Bring It ON!”), has launched her first ebook after a year of working with me.

It’s an exciting time for her and there’s about a 1,000 pound pie of pride around here for her accomplishment.

She calls it “Online Evolutions” which is a compilation of blog posts she’s made at her website at InsightfulDevelopment.com.

Check out how Amber has assembled her sales page at http://tinyurl.com/yaugfdd and then read the rest of this email so to consider emulating what she has done for your own business.

4 Things Every Blogger Needs to Know – Lessons Based on Julie Powell of Julie & Julia

Clients, family and friends all seemed to glow with this strange excitement after watching the Blockbuster hit Julie and Julia, book written by Julie Powell. Everyone suddenly wanted to start a blog. I thought the movie was about Meryl Streep playing Julia Child…? Well six months or so after the movie released, I finally broke down and saw it. Being a blogger, I was filled with inspiration to say the least. (See the bottom of this post for a trailer on the movie.)

5 Ways to Create a Blog Post Strategy to Gain Exposure and More Traffic

When I started this blog, I had many ideas and tools to get started with a bang. I had been studying Internet Marketing from the top experts in the industry – and a few became great friends. I have had excellent mentors that showed me how and why to do certain marketing aspects – avoiding the ones that didn’t matter.

But, I still had to try it on my own. You can have all the education in the world, but it’s the execution that really starts your training. So today I share some of the things I’ve done to keep me on mark with my goals to getting traffic, getting subscribers, and just plain enjoying the ride!

Our Thanksgiving Family Hike Turned Into a Killer Slideshow

My dad is brilliant at creating these DVD slideshows to save family memories forever and has a side business of creating this same show for families across the nation. He has also created several business promotional videos for HereNextYear clients such as www.ThunderRidgeSki.com, www.CrossroadsAdultCare.com and www.AcousticMusicRevival.com. It’s amazing the feedback these clients have received as well!

With Christmas and Hanukkah right around the corner…you may want to consider a gift your whole family can enjoy. I’ve even done a few myself and the result is always the same. Tears in eyes, laughter and joy. It’s just a killer good idea!

Online Evolutions to Release in 7 Days

I started the Insightful Development website because I have this urge deep inside to share my knowledge – to make an impact on the world. I have felt so blessed in my life… overcoming many great challenges with the help of others. I want to be that person for someone else.

I am preparing right now to finish the very final draft on the first book I wrote, “What the Heart Wants: A Teen’s Journey From Lost to Found”. I think this will be a very important book for young people who struggle to know what to do in a variety of situations. I wrote this 200 page book 5 years ago and have been on-again-off-again ever since. It’s not that I didn’t believe in the story… I just couldn’t seem to find the right editor or publisher… until now.
