March will be a very interesting month I have a feeling. After just getting over a cold, I have a renewed motivation to kick ass!

Between yesterday and this morning, I heard 2 great SEO tips that I can’t help but share, plus, I’m going to remind you of another.
One Great SEO Tip:
This morning, I received my daily ProBlogger email as usual and inside was a blog post called, “Optimize a Single Post On Your Blog for SEO“.
The first SEO point of 4 was to find out which of your posts are ranked in Google’s 1st page (2nd-10th position) and then go back and optimize those posts to become #1 on Google. That is a simple but obvious idea that I hadn’t thought of directly before.

Last night I watched as incredible men and women athletes skated down a mountain wall of ice or boarded up one. World athlete leader after another, I began to find the common denominators. They all felt overwhelmed with guilt and disappointment when they lost, they all showed a combo look of fear and confidence before they started, and they all…gave it their all.
I was sitting on the floor looking up at the TV thinking, “Man that’s impressive. I can’t even image the feeling, knowing you are the best in the world at what you do.” Then my thoughts took a different direction… “There are extremely impressive, hardworking men and women entrepreneurs or employees all over the place!”

This morning I got my usual ProBlogger blog post email. Inside were details about a new WordPress plugin called “Scribe“, a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) evaluator and booster. After doing research and taking the Scribe plugin tour, I bought it and am testing it out as we speak.
Here’s how it works… Scribe has a killer special right now to get their highest package for only $27 per month (that’s the same price as their smallest package!). You download the plugin, then upload into your website. The beauty of this package is that you can use this plugin on Unlimited websites…Imagine the possibilities. Then, activate the plugin and start a blog post. You’ll notice a new section in your Add Post page called “Scribe Content Optimizer”. As I do certain SEO tasks, I see green checkmarks appear that I am on track to having a highly optimized blog post.

After spending a few weeks with the owner, I really got a good feel for the
company beliefs and goals. We know all about the buzz going around over health care, companies being greedy, etc. This company was about as good-hearted as it gets folks. Andrew and his team of friendly agents educate potential clients and spend the time necessary to make sure customers have an insurance plan they can afford, while getting coverage they can feel good about.

DenverAdvertising.com is a leading design and marketing agency in Denver, Colorado and was recently ranked as one of the Top 25 Agencies in Denver by the Denver Business Journal.

A well-known Denver speaker and coach (and very good person to her core!) called the other day out of sheer desperation and unknowing of what to do. Her “web guy” turned on her. A promise of building her website in 3 days for $200, turned into 3 weeks with little communication – meanwhile, enjoying his new $200 profit.
She attempted to get her money back via PayPal and not only did that not happen, but he found out and threatened to bring her down. He seemed to beam with pride in the past, she told me, when talking about how much he knew about coding and what potential he had to make or break someone.

I am writing to all of you in hopes that you will give me your support on something that means a great deal to a close friend…and therefore, is important to me as well.
Mo Willis is a top-notch guy married to my boyfriend’s sister and has had his heart set on becoming a SURVIVOR Show Contestant for years. He has just compiled an audition tape-and here’s where you come in!
In order to even be considered for the show, the criteria is…your audition video MUST be in the top ten viewed videos! So, I’m assisting him by asking all of my friends to view the short video (less than a minute)!

You’ve seen them all over… especially within the past year. Website owners are catching on that building a list of email subscribers is the most valuable online asset.
What Have We Learned?
- Make your Opt-In box *stand out* on your page. Visually direct your visitors on what you want them to do
- With everyone asking for your email, you’d better have a worth-while offer as incentive otherwise you won’t be getting many visitors. A newsletter won’t cut it anymore unfortunately.
- Don’t ask for too much information. A name and email (or email field alone) is all you need, and all your visitors are willing to give away.
